Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, known in Japan as Biohazard 3: Last Escape is a survival horror video game and the sequel to Resident Evil 2, developed and published by Capcom. The game was released for the PlayStation, and was subsequently ported to the Dreamcast, Microsoft Windows and Nintendo GameCube. The game is also available for download on the PlayStation Network for use with the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. The first half of the game occurs 24 hours prior to Resident Evil 2 and the second half takes place nearly two days after. The storyline expands upon the settings and events of the T-virus outbreak in Raccoon City, and concludes with the fate of the city and its infected population. A new feature to gameplay is the Nemesis, an experimental type of Tyrant (an upgrade to the previous game's T-103) programmed by Umbrella to hunt down and kill the remaining STARS members. He can run, use a rocket launcher as a weapon, dodge incoming fire, and is capable of pursuing the player from one area to the next. Nemesis is encountered multiple times throughout the game as a recurring boss. Taking the form of oil drums on the ground or bundles of an unspecified explosive material affixed to a wall, firing on these objects causes them to explode, damaging or destroying nearby enemies. The game also incorporates a randomization feature that varies the placement of items and enemies. Puzzles are either completely randomized or have their solutions selected from a pre-determined list. At certain points in the game, the player will enter Live Selection Mode, in which they are prompted to choose between one of two possible actions. The choice of action affects the direction of the game and story, including which ending the player receives. Each selection has a time limit, with the consequence for going over the limit being either Jill taking damage or instant death.

Mortal Kombat is a 2.5D fighting game with 3D graphics and the ninth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series. Stronghold 2 is a real time strategy computer game released in April 2005 in which the player develops a stronghold in the middle ages. It is the sequel to Stronghold, released in 2001, also by Firefly Studios. The game engine was enhanced over the original Stronghold to provide full 3-dimensional graphics, although the assembly code is all in one subroutine. Other changes include new military and peace campaigns and the addition of crime and punishment, allowing players to torture unruly peasants. A number of new characters were also introduced. In the game, the player plays as a lord who rules over a medieval castle. With his available resources, the player places buildings or features, including many different kinds of food production, industry, civil, or military buildings and defences. Available peasants automatically choose jobs whenever a building requires one, so player micromanagement is minimal, he mostly needs to set up the various buildings in an efficient way while providing safety for his peasants. Military units are directly controlled individually or in groups, sometimes quite large with sieges or battles involving many hundreds on each side. One new addition to the original stronghold is the inclusion of estates, that a player can "buy" with his accumulated honor (gained by popularity, holding feasts, dances, jousting, etc.). Estates are semi-independent villages (without castle fortifications) that produce their own goods that the owner can send through carts to his castle or his allies. The inclusion of fully 3D-rendered graphics allowed Stronghold 2 to include tower interiors as battlegrounds for units, and the ability to go observe castle inhabitants very closely, which is useful considering the new features of waste & rat management. As in the original Stronghold, players can choose very different styles of play modes: Kingmaker, Siege, War Campaign, Peace Campaign, Freeplay, Custom scenario, and in Multiplayer (Hosted by Gamespy). certainly close enough to give you the general idea of what the House of
the Dead series is all about. In it, you're part of a government agency
in charge of stopping the machinations of the nefarious and incredibly
monotone Goldman, a suit-wearing evil mastermind intent on wiping out
the human race with his monster hordes for reasons that never really
quite make sense - or have to, for that matter. If that sounds like the
plot for the first House of the Dead game that's because, well, the evil
is back! While the graphics in the home version of the original
House Of The Dead 2 fell far short of its coin-op cousin, the Dream cast
port of the second game is virtually identical to the arcade sequel and
looks phenomenal. The monsters and their environments are incredibly
well modeled and textured, and your gunshots blast gory green holes
through the zombies (which look fantastic when they get up close enough
to take a bite out of you) and the other assorted nasties. The home
version of House Of The Dead 2 also stacks up very well in terms of
added value, with four different modes in all: arcade, original, boss,
and training. The arcade mode is the heart of the game, wherein you
shoot zombie after zombie and confront boss after boss. Original is
essentially the same, but in it you can set your bullets for extra
damage or expand your clip, but you're locked into the basic options.
(In arcade, you can increase the number of your continues and lives.)
Meanwhile, boss mode lets you practice taking on the game's boss
monsters, and training mode sets you up in a number of point-blank-style
puzzle/shooting levels, where you'll shoot a dozen creatures with only a

often-used phrase "Virtua Cop meets Resident Evil" doesn't quite do
Sega's zombie-blasting arcade gun-game series justice, but it's
certainly close enough to give you the general idea of what the House of
the Dead series is all about. In it, you're part of a government agency
in charge of stopping the machinations of the nefarious and incredibly
monotone Goldman, a suit-wearing evil mastermind intent on wiping out
the human race with his monster hordes for reasons that never really
quite make sense - or have to, for that matter. If that sounds like the
plot for the first House of the Dead game that's because, well, the evil
is back! While the graphics in the home version of the original
House Of The Dead 2 fell far short of its coin-op cousin, the Dream cast
port of the second game is virtually identical to the arcade sequel and
looks phenomenal. The monsters and their environments are incredibly
well modeled and textured, and your gunshots blast gory green holes
through the zombies (which look fantastic when they get up close enough
to take a bite out of you) and the other assorted nasties. The home
version of House Of The Dead 2 also stacks up very well in terms of
added value, with four different modes in all: arcade, original, boss,
and training. The arcade mode is the heart of the game, wherein you
shoot zombie after zombie and confront boss after boss. Original is
essentially the same, but in it you can set your bullets for extra
damage or expand your clip, but you're locked into the basic options.
(In arcade, you can increase the number of your continues and lives.)
Meanwhile, boss mode lets you practice taking on the game's boss
monsters, and training mode sets you up in a number of point-blank-style
puzzle/shooting levels, where you'll shoot a dozen creatures with only a
limited number of bullets, save humans from zombie attacks, knock
zombies off moving cars, and blast barrels within a time limit. This
mode is great fun and carries the potential to be almost as strong and
entertaining as the main game itself, save for a few drawbacks.Story The
game follows the fictional events of February 26, 2000 fourteen months
after the Curien Mansion incident in The House of the Dead. Two years
after the incident, the secret international agency, AMS, launched an
investigation on the Curien case, in order to prevent a similar
outbreak. Strange occurrences, however, are reported to be taking place
in the city of Venice, Italy, the last known location of AMS agent G,
who has gone missing. Agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart are
dispatched along with Amy Crystal and Harry Harris to investigate and
evacuate the populace. Upon finding G alive but wounded, James and Gary
converse with him and G gives them a field journal showing the bosses
and weak points. The pair are then met with an undead horde developed by
Caleb Goldman, the president of the eminent DBR Corporation and an
expert on the genome theory who funded the experiments of the late Dr.
Curien. While converging on Goldman's headquarters, James and Gary
face many formidable foes, including Judgment consisting of an imp-like
monster Zeal and his giant, headless, axe-wielding puppet Kuarl; The
Hierophant, an aquatic beast which heads an assault on Venice's
waterways and Central Plaza; segmented serpent-like beasts known as The
Tower; and Strength, a giant, chainsaw-wielding zombie which wounds
Harry and chases James and Gary throughout the Roman Colosseum. Curien's
masterpiece, The Magician, is resurrected by Goldman to oversee the
birth of The Emperor, a horned, transparent being designed to rule over
nature and "destroy and hate mankind". In its prototype stage, The
Emperor is not as strong as Goldman had hoped, and falls to the AMS
agents. In order to evade being arrested, Goldman commits suicide by
throwing himself off the roof of his building. In the first HOUSE OF

PlayStation 2 version was released on the online virtual market,

the game, also called Need for Speed: Most Wanted, was announced by the

Most Wanted is like other Need for Speed games, where the player selects
one car and races against a time limit or other racers to reach a
destination. Police chases have once again been integrated into certain
racing sessions, in which the police employ vehicles and tactics to stop
the player's car and arrest the player, like Need for Speed III: Hot
Pursuit, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, and Need for Speed: Carbon. As
players take control of faster cars and increasingly rely on nitrous
oxide speed boosts, the oxide meter now refills automatically for the
first time since its introduction in Underground, and driving sequences
become fast-paced and intense similar to the Burnout series.
Most Wanted features pursuit evasion in the game for the first time in
the series since Hot Pursuit 2. In Career mode, police pursuits may
occur during a race or during free roaming through the city, depending
on the frequency of the police units in the area and traffic offenses
players have committed. The player can initiate a pursuit immediately
from the game's safe house or menu by choosing an unfinished Milestone
or a Bounty challenge. Pursuits can also be initiated by selecting an
appropriate Challenge in the Challenge Series mode. Traffic offenses
committed by the player are known in game as Infractions.There are a
wide range of cars available for the main Career mode of the game. Cars
such as the Fiat Punto, Audi TT and Cadillac CTS are only seen in Most Wanted and tuners return from Underground 2 (e.g. Toyota Supra,
Mazda RX-7 and Mazda RX-8) but SUVs do not return except as
non-playable police vehicles. Exotics like the Lotus Elise,
Lamborghinis, Porsches make their first appearance since Need for Speed:
Hot Pursuit 2 and classic muscle cars
featured in the Black Edition (e.g. Chevrolet Camaro) are new to the
series. As the game progresses, better and faster cars are unlocked and
races get faster and more intense as the player makes his/her way
through the game. Cars must either be purchased at car lots or won by
getting the pink slip to a Blacklist Racer's car, as detailed in the
Modes section. The available cars and events are unlocked as the player
progresses through the storyline in the Career mode. Achieving goals by
winning races and performing a number of actions, dubbed "Milestones",
during police pursuits, as well as a minimum Bounty are needed to
advance in the storyline and race against any of the mode's 15 Blacklist
racers. In the Xbox 360 version, the player is awarded with
achievements each time a Blacklist opponent is defeated. Career mode
introduces a new feature – the ability to win a Blacklist opponent's car
("pink slip"), bonus functions, extra cash or car parts and decors,
after defeating the opponent in question. These come in the form of six
markers – the rival's pink slip (which is concealed as a bonus marker),
two bonus function markers, and three custom backroom parts markers of
which there is a body part, visual upgrade, and performance marker
("Junkman Marker") that the player can select – of which the player can
choose only two. New cars and parts are also unlocked as the player progresses through Career mode by beating Blacklist racers.
